First Thoughts on Capcom Vs SNK 2: EO.

Here I sit, recovering from the sickness that is Bronchitis. A few days off my regular job and a few missing pieces of my lungs later, and I couldn't be happier - for I am playing one hell of a good fighting game. Expect a full-fledged review soon; while I struggle to maintain my consciousness, I will give a brief overview of this excellent game.
Aesthetics
What more can you expect from a Capcom 2-D fighting game? Cartoon-ish graphics, amazing backgrounds, and flawless animation. The game looks incredible.
Sound
Sound is excellent, although not amazing. The characters' voices are not dubbed, so if someone out there knows Japanese, I'd love to hear what they all say. The remainder of the game is in English, though. Music is catchy as well, no major problems.
Gameplay
There are so many gameplay options here it will make your Hadouken spin. Different "groove" fighting styles and 6 modes of play only scratch the surface. This game packs so much more than your average fighter.
Controls
Capcom has created an excellent control scheme which takes full advantage of the otherwise unconventional button layout of the GCN controller. Players can utilize the C-Stick on the controller to perform all of the fighter's special and super moves. For those of us a little more familiar with the game, there is also the classic control scheme. The controls are easy and responsive as well.
Multiplayer
Haven't tried it yet. Hey, I've only had the game for a few hours!
Overall
Expect a rather high rating for this game. I mean, come on. It's Capcom. You knew it was going to be good.
Well, that's it for now. Time to go back to my isolated bubble to recuperate.
Later.
