News   Nintendo and Spaceworld not sitting in a tree in 2002?

Nintendo is reported as saying that they are not going to hold their own gaming conference/event, Spaceworld, for the year 2002.

Generally one of Nintendo's primary points for debuting new games, hardware, and other dork-related goodies, Spaceworld is one of the focal points for Nintendo fans' attention throughout the year. How we will fill that void this year remains to be seen, but hopefully the oncoming release of Eternal Darkness and Mario Sunshine will make that loss a little easier to swallow.
