News   Radeon 9700 announced!
- Posted By Travis Coats, 07.19.2002

If you own a computer and want the best possible performance from a video card, take a look at the soon to be released Radeon 9700.

Like those graphics on your Cube? Well ArtX made the Flipper chip we all know and love, and after being bought by ATI, the Radeon 9700 is the next graphics chip created by their oh-so capable hands.

I can't even begin to describe this monster of a VPU, so take a hop over to ATI's website and see it for yourself. Just think, if Nintendo and ATI keep a strong relationship going, this product may be a predecessor to the chip that powers the GameCube's successor.

Remember, NVIDIA chips are in the X-Box... Support ATI!
