Product Description
UFC: Throwdown is the first "real fighting" game, for the GameCube that offers the raw, full contact mixed martial arts fighting found in the pay-per-view phenomenon known as Ultimate Fighting Championship. The game features the actual UFC champions and all the real-life mixed martial arts moves they use in the Octagon. UFC: Throwdown has 28 announced fighters, including current light-heavyweight Champ Tito Ortiz. The game also includes four exclusive fighters for the GameCube: Shonie Carter, Ricco Rodriguez, Matt Serra and Dave Menne.

Several game modes will be available in Throwdown: UFC Mode, Arcade Mode, Career Mode, Tournament and Training. In the ultra extensive Career Mode, the player can create and train a fighter. Once created, the fighter can be trained using skill-up challenges and mini-tournaments. As the player works his way up the ranks, he (What no women will play this game? -ed) will upgrade his roster of moves and even master new fighting styles. Once he has what it takes to be a UFC fighter, he'll challenge seasoned UFC veterans for a spot on the UFC Championship card.

There you have it. The more fighting games the better.
