News   Jumping The Gun Sucks Ass

Last week I printed an article detailing that several characters appeared on the Nintendo reel that appeared to be secret characters. Several of my contacts at E-3 informed me that I was wrong.

It appears that in the single-player mode, you can earn points and coins, which then allow you to buy little figurines of popular Nintendo characters that you can display. These are what we saw on the reel above the kiosks.

However, when inquiring about Jigglypuff, one of the Product Testers from Nintendo informed us that from what he heard, pretty much every character from any Nintendo franchise ever would be unlockable. This bodes very well for characters like Little Mac and Pit.

He also relayed a rumor about Metroid, but you'll have to check NShooters for that...
