Majesco, the publishers behind Iridion 3D for the GBA, is planning on bringing a new boxing title, "Boxing Fever" to the portable console this fall.
Developed by the Montreal-based Digital Fiction, the game is said to "deliver an outrageously unique, and action-packed new boxing experience". Probably the most unique aspect of the title is most of the action takes place in a first-person view.
“Boxing Fever delivers a unique perspective that heightens player immersion through fast-paced action seen through the eyes of the boxer,” said Joseph Sutton, Executive Vice President, Majesco, Inc. “Additionally, the game’s stylish cartoon look and feel combines humor and strategy to attract both young and mature audiences.”
The title will feature 8 characters to choose from, as well as two hidden ones. Players will hone the skills of their boxer and compete over five different championship tournaments. The title is slated for an October release.
