News   Soul Calibur 2 headed to GameCube.
- Posted By Travis Coats, 08.17.2001

Nintendo has garnered a huge victory of sorts today. Namco has at long last revealed that Soul Calibur 2 is GameCube bound.

In my opinion, the addition of this title to the GameCube's library will single-handedly allow Nintendo to sell a million GameCube's alone.

Need proof? The original Soul Calibur was loved by gamers and the media alike. It was a system seller if ever there was one, and Sega sold many a Dreamcast because of it. If we have learned anything, it is that history tends to repeat itself, and Nintendo is certainly going to benefit from it.

It appears that the GameCube is going to become a system of choice for fighting game buffs. What with Super Smash Brothers Melee and now Soul Calibur, how could a fan of the genre refuse?

Things are starting to come together. Space World is just days away...
