News   Dave Mirra: New and improved!
- Posted By Travis Coats, 07.16.2001

Acclaim has revealed that both the GameCube and Xbox versions of Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX2 will sport many enhancements over the PS2 game, namely:

- Ten tracks; two more than the eight that are on PS2.
- A higher polygon count on 3D models.
- Environments will feature more detailed textures.

Moreover, developer Z-Axis has the Cube version operating at 60 frames per second. So in other words, eat your heart out Sony! That's the same frame rate F-Zero X for N64 moves at, and twice as fast as Sony's recently released Twisted Metal Black.
