The GBA Has a Hidden Contrast Control

Many gamers have been complaining that the GBA's screen is too dark, especially when playing classic Game Boy titles on the new system. If you find the problem unbearable then you might be willing to void your warranty in order to fix the 'problem.' IGN Pocket reports that the GBA has a contrast control, it's just hidden so that users can not access it. Why would Nintendo do this? Because the contrast control or "potentiometer" as it's called is not meant for users adjustment...

July 25th, EA is holding a Gamer's Day. There, they will have playable builds of the GameCube versions of NFL Madden 2002, and SSX Tricky. Last month, gamers got to test Madden, and it looked superior to the Xbox version, but far inferior to the nearly-finished PS2 version. Nevertheless, it played well. However, this is the first time anyone will have even seen the CGN version of SSX Tricky, so if you're in California, make sure to check it out!
