Preview 3D Pool All-Stars
- By Travis Coats
Ah, billiards. Nothing in the world can compare to a smoky room full of friends gathering around for a game of pool. While a handheld gaming system like the Game Boy Color can’t exactly recreate that atmosphere, it can at least do a good job of simulating a billiard game.
The game to handle such a task is none other than the new 3D Pool All-Stars from Titus.
Some of the title's features include…
Eight different characters and personalities to choose from.
Four different sets of rules.
Multiple gameplay modes such as Ghost ball, Tournament, and Multiplayer.
3D style effects that allow for 360 degree viewing of the action.
Seems like the only thing this game is missing is some virtual smoke that lingers over the table. Well, that and the rambunctious person that is playing on the table next to you that repeatedly hits you with his cue stick… but I digress.
Hailed as a half arcade, half sports simulation, 3D Pool All Starts should be just the game for those rare times when you want to play pool, but are simply too lazy to get off your butt and go do it.

Cue ball... corner pocket. Er, wait a second.
 What is this? Mortal Kombat?
That should be an easy shot.
This one looks kind of tricky.
