Preview  1080: White Storm

E3 Impressions:

It is well known by now that I am a self-proclaimed Wave Race: Blue Storm groupie. I absolutely love the game, and I nearly worship NST for that title alone. As such, you can probably imagine my pleasant surprise when I heard that NST was handling the newest 1080 version, and that they were modeling it in the same style that Wave Race: BS was. Needless to say, I almost jumped for joy.

Sharing a similar title, 1080: White Storm should do for the snowboard what Wave Race did for the Jet Ski. As of yet, not much has been shown except a short video and some screen shots, but the game does hold a lot of promise. Apparently utilizing the same active weather system employed in Wave Race, 1080 will have snowstorms and avalanches in place of typhoons and waves.

I could go on and on about this title, but until more concrete information shows up, I'm just flapping my lips in the wind. They always say a picture is worth a thousand words, so feel free to check the screens on the right. They explain the beauty of the game far better than I can.
