Preview  ESPN Final Round Golf 2002
- By Travis Coats

Not to be satisfied with releasing only one game based on the ESPN license, Konami will be releasing two. Both ESPN Final Round Golf and ESPN X Games Skateboarding will arrive in stores during September.

Just as with X Games, Final Round Golf is stocked full with features. The majority of these features are listed below.

The full ESPN license.

A four player multiplayer mode using the Game Boy Advance link cable.

Five different courses to choose from including a desert area.

Fourteen unique golfers each with their own technique and attributes.

Four distinct modes of play including Stroke Mode, Training, Match Play, and Tournament.

Dynamic gameplay ranging from wind, rain and time of day. All of which will affect the course of the game.

After spending considerable time with Mario Golf I have come to appreciate a well-done golfing game. Let's hope that Konami and ESPN The Games can deliver an experience worth paying for.
